Monthly Homeowner's Meeting Monday October 12th 7 pm at St Dunstan's Church
Next Monday October 12th will be the monthly Homeowners Association Meeting. At this meeting we will be holding an election for a new board member. Every homeowner should have received their ballot from Sterling Management Co.
As noted on the ballot you can fax or email your completed ballot with your vote back to them. You can also bring your ballot with you to the meeting and give it to the Sterling representative prior to the meeting. As we have two candidates the voting will be only by ballot.
The votes will be tallied and the new board member will be announced after the business meeting.
Also, at this meeting the board will be approving next year’s budget. There will be a discussion on the budget that is open to all of the residents at 6:30 pm. The budget will be presented to the residents at that time.
Lot’s to discuss and a new board member – come out and see what’s happening in your neighborhood.
Volunteers are running for an open position. Specific positions on the board such as Secretary or President are determined by the board of directors.
General HOA Meetings are held the second Monday of each month.
Any issues pertaining to individual homeowners in regards to past due HOA dues and the collection efforts of HOA dues are considered confidential and must not be discussed at the general meetings.
Any homeowner wishing to discuss these matters with the board can arrange for a private meeting generally scheduled prior to the public HOA meeting.
The HOA meetings are scheduled for 7 pm the second Monday of the month and are held at St. Dunstan's Church.
Greetings from Sheriff Adrian Garcia, Harris County Sheriff's Office
Hello, this is Sheriff Adrian Garcia, and I am pleased to announce that starting today the Harris County Sheriff’s Office will be utilizing Nextdoor in our continued effort to foster neighbor-to-neighbor communication and just as important, law enforcement-to-neighbor communication.
The HCSO is the 21st century leading law enforcement agency and as such we will use Nextdoor as another tool to effectively share with you results about our proactive policing efforts, crime prevention and safety information, and community events we’d like for you to participate in.
You can expect to receive hyper-local crime and safety updates from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office via Nextdoor, but your Nextdoor website is still kept private to only those who live in the neighborhood and who have a verified address.
Please be aware that Nextdoor should NOT be used to request emergency services, police services, report criminal or suspicious activity, file a report, etc. If you require emergency services, please call 9-1-1. For non-emergency services, please call 713-221-6000. If you’d like to report suspicious persons and/or activity, you can do so anonymously through the HCSO’s free mobile phone app iWatch Harris County. Visit www.iwatchharriscounty.com for more information about how to download this FREE app today!
I’ve always said that you don’t necessarily need a gun and a badge to fight crime- we’re in this together!
We watch Harris County and so should YOU.
On behalf of the Harris County Sheriff's Office, we look forward to using Nextdoor to build stronger, safer neighborhoods throughout Harris County!
