Deed Violations
At January's General Meeting the Board of Directors voted to stop issuing deed violation letters for lack of sod or other plantings in front yards until February 15th.
To help residents handle this problem, we have invited Tom Reifsteck, our landscaper to give us some suggestions for these bald spots in the yards.
Bring your questions Monday night 7 pm to St Dunstan's. Be advised that after February 15th violation letters will resume on this issue.
General HOA Meetings are held the second Monday of each month.
Any issues pertaining to individual homeowners in regards to past due HOA dues and the collection efforts of HOA dues are considered confidential and must not be discussed at the general meetings.
Any homeowner wishing to discuss these matters with the board can arrange for a private meeting generally scheduled prior to the public HOA meeting.
The HOA meetings are scheduled for the second Monday of the month.

Greetings from Sheriff Adrian Garcia, Harris County Sheriff's Office
Hello, this is Sheriff Adrian Garcia, and I am pleased to announce that starting today the Harris County Sheriff’s Office will be utilizing Nextdoor in our continued effort to foster neighbor-to-neighbor communication and just as important, law enforcement-to-neighbor communication.

The HCSO is the 21st century leading law enforcement agency and as such we will use Nextdoor as another tool to effectively share with you results about our proactive policing efforts, crime prevention and safety information, and community events we’d like for you to participate in.

You can expect to receive hyper-local crime and safety updates from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office via Nextdoor, but your Nextdoor website is still kept private to only those who live in the neighborhood and who have a verified address.

Please be aware that Nextdoor should NOT be used to request emergency services, police services, report criminal or suspicious activity, file a report, etc. If you require emergency services, please call 9-1-1. For non-emergency services, please call 713-221-6000. If you’d like to report suspicious persons and/or activity, you can do so anonymously through the HCSO’s free mobile phone app iWatch Harris County. Visit for more information about how to download this FREE app today!

I’ve always said that you don’t necessarily need a gun and a badge to fight crime- we’re in this together!

We watch Harris County and so should YOU.

On behalf of the Harris County Sheriff's Office, we look forward to using Nextdoor to build stronger, safer neighborhoods throughout Harris County!

~ New Deed Restrictions ~
The 2011 Texas State Legislature made substantial changes to the laws governing homeowners associations. The Association along with attorneys at law, Holt & Young, P.C. have written new deed restrictions so that residents of Champions Terrace and the Association are in compliance with the new state laws.
State law favors homeowners and our deed restrictions are now written to reflect those changes in law.  See Summary of Proposed Restated Declaration and Bylaws
Below you will find links to the new deed restrictions and covenants. Please take a moment to read through them. And, then approve the new restrictions by voting.  This is your community and the deed restrictions are paramount in maintaining our property values.
